Food just has that je ne sais quoi, right? 😏
When you’re bored, you eat because maybe your day-to-day feels a little dull. You might not be totally jazzed about the mundane work or family commitments you have so food gives you that little hit of sensory stimulation to spark something different.
Remember, every behaviour stems from a positive intention at first! Heck, you just want to live a little and experience PLEASURE! Don’t we all?
Being a zest-seeker means it’s going to be important to prioritise finding ways to insert pleasure into your day. Whether you have a job that doesn’t light you up, or you’re watching the kids when you rather be at a yoga retreat with your girlfriends… one thing’s true, you need to experience PLEASURE more often 🥳
And if you’re bored all the time, this also begs the question, could you reframe your relationship with stillness? There is so much power in being still, communing with your body, with the present and just breathing in that space.
So often, we like to fill up our days with a MILLION things to avoid being still and with ourselves. So take a deep breath and get curious about where the boredom is coming from for you.
